We started off New Years Eve with Logan relaxing in a bubble bath. No sharing with Kara today. He loved just being able to play by himself.
This year, we were able to go up to the Elswoods like we have done for years except last year when Matt had to work, plus I got sick so it worked out perfectly with being home.
We headed up to the Elswoods after naptime.
We had homemade pizza and fruit. It was quite delicious. I am really enjoying have homemade food alot more than restaurant food, especially with the kids since it is sometimes hard for them to eat. Plus Kristin makes really good food anyway.
After dinner, Matt put up our new air mattresses. Yep, we get to have a sleepover too.
We played Twister together. We had to take turns as there were to many of us. Kara doesn't quite understand her right from her left yet, but everyone was really good at helping her figure it out.

Matt and David ended up having a show off over twister and they were in some precarious positions sometimes.
I played around with the girls. It was a bit hard with my hair down, but still enjoyable.
David bought alot of noise makers and poppers. The kids loved the noise makers and we finally had to tell them it was time to stop as some of us were getting headaches and it got annoying too.

After making all our noise, we got out some bubbly. Logan loved it if you can't tell by the smile on his face.

Happy Elswood 2016 celebrations
We put the kids to bed. Elswood kids slept upstairs. We attempted to put Kara and Logan in the same room, but Logan wouldn't leave Kara alone and Kara couldn't stop from playing with him.
We had to separate them until Logan fell asleep and then we put Kara back in the room. Quite interesting as Logan's last time in the same room was a tent in June.

After the kids went to bed, we played "Watch Ya Mouth". It was just the 4 of us but we had fun. We played 3 rounds with different teams each time, girls vs boys, Elswoods vs Monsons, and then we traded spouses as partners.

After the game, we watched the clock tick down on the TV, kissed and then went to bed.
