I had been hearing how busy it was, so we got there before it opened but found ourselves in a long line just to get in. So I was a bit nervous that we would have driven so far for not a great reward.
We ended up having a lot of fun.
We went down the tobbogan sleds twice out of the three times we were permitted with our pass.
We went to the nutcracker ride. It was fun ridding the cool bike around. Kara got to ride on the back part all alone.
We also rode the train through some Christmas lights. It was about a half hour wait for the train.
After the train, we headed over to the bumper boat ride around the lazy river. We probably waited about 45 minutes in line for this ride, but it was actually worth the wait. It was great having the two of us there as one could take the kids and walk around while the other stayed in line and held our spot.
We went to diner very late, but it was really good.
Such a wonderful family time together!
