Living Planet Aquarium 5-10-2014
I took my in-laws with me to a free event at the Living Planet Aquarium. It was packed, but we had fun anyway.

Sweet or Sour - Kara's take on Lemons
I went out to eat with my Gram and mom on May 9th to Village Inn. While we waited for our food, my mom gave Kara a lemon.
First 2014 Hike - 5-5-2014
We went on our first hike with Kara in 2014 to the Living Room up by the U of U. We met our friend, David, who was going to hike with us but he forgot his shoes. Conveniently, his work is right next to the trail head, so he walked a bit with us.
We were definitely huffing and puffing though. 50 minutes up, with me feeling like crying and wanting to turn back, but of course I was competitive and didn't want Matt to out hike me. Plus he had Kara on his back and I only had the water and food. We hiked up the mountain, sat in the living room and came back down.
Nice little hike to get us in the mood for more.

Reno Road trip
Kara and I went on a road trip to Reno to see Lyndsay's family, especially the boys and new little Lilly.
I wanted to fly as it would have been only about an hour, but all direct flights were over $300 so I decided I would drive. We left on April 23rd and came home 5 days later.
We had fun while we were there. Except the sleep factor. I forgot how noisy Kara is and trying to sleep in the same room wasn't the funnest. Kara was fantastic both ways in the car.
The weather wasn't the best but we had fun anyway. I got to hold Lilly alot, which was nice since Kara usually won't hold still very long. Kara loved playing with the boys and they were so sweet to her. We watched Jayden play basketball, went to Virginia City for a day, went on walks with Braxton while Jayden was at school, took the little ones to the indoor mall playground while Jayden was in school, saw Lyndsay's house, and more fun times at home relaxing and chatting.
