Christmas Cruise 12-8-2014

We wanted to have a little bit of fun, so I booked us on a Christmas Cruise on the Provo River. Before the cruise, we drove down early enough to miss the traffic in Utah county. We stopped at the University Mall to stretch our legs and see some Christmas decorations. Kara enjoyed running the corridors. We even stopped into the Disney store. Not sure it was the brightest idea when she ran up and grabbed 2 Minnie Mouses about her size, but she did a great job of putting things back and being able to leave the store when it was time.

We had dinner at the Old Spaghetti factory, which was calm and not too crowded. Kara had to sit on my lap while we ate, so a prego belly, an almost 2 year old, and pasta was a little tricky, but it worked out fine.

After dinner we made our way down to the Provo River for the cruise. We just missed the 7:30pm cruise, so we had to wait around for the 8:00. They had a fire and a movie showing, so it wasn't too bad to wait.

The cruise was fine and fun, but I was glad to get off the boat. Kara did a fantastic job of just sitting on my lap and looking at the lights.

Nice Monday night family adventure to add to our Christmas holiday adventures.
