5-10-2017 - This is the Place - Train Day

I took the kids up to This is the Place for Train Day. It was less crowded then the free days we have gone on because it was $10 total for Kara and I. Still enjoying Logan being free because he is under 3 years old.

First, Kara and Logan rode the ponies.

Then we went into the barn and were able to see a bunch of baby animals.

Kara had fun "milking" the cow.

We then went into the petting area.

After the petting area, we went over to the train station. It was cold, so I wrapped the kids in the blanket that I had brought.

We went up the hill to the little train ride around the small pond.

Kara had fun also playing in the boat.

We headed back down the hill for the golden spike re-enactment.

While we were watching the re-enactment, we ate our lunch and got to listen and see the gun firing too.

We saw Elder M. Russell Ballard too. I told Kara who it was and said she should go shake his hand. Well instead, she ran up to him and gave him a huge.

We had a fun day together.
