We took a trip to Manti for the last Manti pageant. We luckily got a hotel at the Historic Manti House Inn Bed and Breakfast. Our room was directly across the road from the Manti Hotel. We arrived really early, so we could walk around town. We went on a wagon ride. It was only our family so it was a private wagon ride around town. We invited my mom to come down with us and she brought her friend Debbie with her. Debbie happens to be my favorite Sunday School teacher while I was growing up. Oh yeah, Logan almost got run over while we in the cross walk by someone not paying attention while they were driving.
We enjoyed the Manti Pageant. Also, my first memory of Matt during our dating years. The kids stayed up for the whole pageant and we got pretty good seats and pretty close also.
The next morning, we had a wonderful breakfast. It was also Father's Day! We went to the local LDS branch in a beautiful building. We were able to sit in the balcony. They asked all the primary children to come up and sing to the dads. Kara heard this and went up front and Logan joined her. It was a fun treat to have them sing to Matt even though we were two hours away from our ward. After sacrament, we went back to the hotel and changed. We went for a walk around the temple grounds and took some pictures.
