Well, Matt worked New Year's Eve for the first time in our marriage. It was the first time in 10 years that we hadn't spent it with the Elswoods. It didn't feel the same at all. I cried a bit that night at being alone, but what can you do.
During the day, I went with my mom and the kids to IKEA. After Matt got up, we had a very early New Years Eve celebration with a movie and some bubbly. Logan also rode in a shopping cart for the first time and had fun playing with his sister's new stroller from Christmas.
