Matt's Valentine's Day gift. An overnight date in Disneyland. We flew out on Tuesday morning early in hopes of being in the park right when it open. We had fun waiting for our shuttle driver with the time crunch of wanting to be in Disneyland. We checked into the hotel and they offered us a room at 7:30 am, so we thought we aren't going to make it to Disneyland on time to be selected for Star Wars Rise of the Resistance.
We got through security and saw an extremely short line to enter before the official Disneyland start time. Matt was getting excited that we might actually get a time for the new Star Wars ride. We got our tickets scanned or so we thought. The ticket person didn't scan Matt's annual pass. We had to go back and get it scanned. Then Matt got a Star Wars reservation number 155. We had hopes that we might get on the ride. We watched the Disney app all day hoping our number would be called up.
We had fun getting our pictures taken by the photographers around the park. Logan says it is Pictureland instead of Disneyland for me, because I am always wanting to get our pictures taken.
We had fun trying different foods and desserts. We rode the rides and explored and held hands. Awe precious!
