3-23-2017 - Logan - 2 years old

So it happened... Logan turned 2. Can't believe he grew-up so fast!

Height - 2 ft. 11 inches = 60%
Weight - 28.0 lbs = 50%
Head - 18.5 in = 10%

Logan's last 2 years were a bit different than Kara's first 2 years. For one thing, I wasn't pregnant and sick for Logan's 9 months before he turned 2. Thank goodness! I am grateful for Heavenly Father having a plan for me and that I can look back on it and appreciate it. Logan is so fun to see and grow. I feel like I missed out on Kara because of having a newborn, nursing, adjusting to 2 kids, being pregnant again, losing a baby, figuring out motherhood - all those fun things.

Logan loves his older sister and loves imitating everything he does. If I tell her not to do something, he makes sure to let me know he is doing it too and that I need to tell him to stop.

Logan is also so caring. He wants to make sure Kara is included in what he has and what he is doing. He loves to tease her too and play with her friends when they are around also.

For Logan's 2nd birthday, we went to the Puppy Barn in American Fork. My parents met us there.

After the Puppy Barn, we went out to eat at Red Robin for Logan's and Kara's birthday meal. Gotta love the birthday club. We opened presents at the restaurant from my parents to Logan. He had a blast finding out what was inside each one.

After naps and dinner, we let Logan open his last gift from our family - a scooter. He loved trying to figure it out and has a pretty good sense of balance on it.

We also bought some blocks for Logan, but they were a bit too advanced so Kara and Matt had fun building and then Logan destroyed their creation.
