10-29-2016 - Murder Mystery Dinner Party

So my bestie decided to be all festive this year for Halloween and host a murder mystery party. She set the theme as the 1920s, so we came dressed the part. Matt had fun putting his costume together of course at the last minute. I also had fun getting mine together too.

So this was like playing "Clue" live.

Turkey made this fabulous cake

We all had different parts and we didn't know who went with each other or what each other had. We had to be detectives and find out what was going on and who was involved.

Below are the players for the evening:

Me and Matt

Sarah

Linda and Carl

Turkey and Alan

Can't remember their names (oops)

Craig and Milette

After introductions of our characters, we were locked into a room and told we were all there that night and let the game begin.

It was alot of fun trying to piece the clues together. Facts were added throughout the night just as they would have been in a real police investigation.

Me sitting next to Alan (who was the janitor and ended up being the murderer!) I didn't figure it out until 2 minutes before we had to turn in our guesses.

Matt and Milette were having a fling in the story.

After having announce the criminal and the motive. Turkey and I posing for pictures.

Our group for the evening all together at the end, happy, healthy, and goofying off.

Turkey cutting her delicious cake. It reminded me of a Snow White cake for some reason. Alan poured the bubbly.

Toasting to my success of figuring out the murderer.

Enjoying cake and friendly banter.

Girlies taking a pictures.

Boys posing for their picture.

Turkey falling for the murderer.

Such a fun night. I did one of these when I was 18 with my group of friends back then and had a blast this time too.

Such a fun way to spend an evening. Hope to be doing it again!
