We went hiking for the 2nd time of the year to someplace my mom went to with Hans and Chelsey before they were even engaged or just recently engaged. My mom had remembered it being a pretty easy hike. Well it turned out to be mostly uphill, so we had a couple breaks before we reached a nice lake which we walked around until we found a shady spot for lunch. Logan did fantastic as did Kara. She ended up touching stinging needle, but was okay pretty quickly after that happened.
We took the kids home for an afternoon nap after the hikes and then Kara and I headed to my moms for dinner. Matt was going to start his 7 on for work, so we left the house quiet so he could sleep.
Kara ended up sitting by Kappy and reading him some books.
