Kara turned 1 years old

Kara turned 1 on March 29th. Matt was on his 7 on, so the day was a little low key. Kara and I opened her cards that she got in the mail. Called my mom, who was in Washington with Chelsey, to see her open her card. So first chat on skype.

Kara and I had lunch and she went down for her first nap and a 1 year old.

We woke up Matt at 2:30, so we could give her a cupcake and sing happy birthday to her. She did quite well digging in.

We went to Matt's parents to see his sister Kristine, before she left to go back to Oregon. We joined up with Laura and Charlie and some of their friends for Laura's birthday, which she shares with Kara. 28 years apart. It was a mellow day, but a fun first birthday with our little bean.
