I am not the biggest fan of birthdays, but since it was Logan's first birthday and we gave Kara a first birthday bash we decided we should probably have a birthday party for Logan. Since we were having a party for Logan, we had a party for Kara at the same time. There birthdays are only 6 days apart anyway. We had to wait until Matt was off of his 7 on before having the birthday parties, so he could be around to enjoy them and also help set up and take down too.
We had a family dinner at my moms house since she has a long enough table for everyone to sit at and the space for it without us having to borrow chairs and rearrange our house to do so. We had a soup bar and rolls. Matt made zuppa toscana soup and a beanless chili. I got all the ingredients and gave him the recipe. My mom made broccoli cheese and Kali made rolls.

I tried my hand at cake decorating on Sunday waiting for my household to wake up from naps. I was just going to ice the cake and cupcakes, but with too much time on my hands and some sandwich bags I had a bit of fun.
Logan fell asleep on the way to my moms' so we laid him down for a nap until dinner time.
Dinner we went outside and enjoyed the weather before opening presents and having birthday cake. I tried to get some pictures of Kara and Logan to mark the occasion.
Happy 1st Birthday to Logan.
Happy 3rd Birthday to Kara.
Birthday Video. Can't believe they are both getting so big.
Pictures of family in attendance at the party.
Presents - Not the biggest fan of double kids opening presents, but its alot easier than doing two individual birthday parties.
Kids had a blast and enjoyed their presents. I am glad it was over and done with. Thanks to all the support for our kids and their birthdays.
