Disneyland Trip - Coming Home 3-9-2016

Wednesday, March 9th - Travel Day. We were suppose to be out of the condo at 10am, but were given an extension until noon. Our plane didn't leave till much later and we were wondering what to do in between the time we needed to wait. Logan was even able to get a morning nap in. It took quite a while to pack everything pack up, check the condo 2 or 3 times, and get out the door. We even went back and had Kara go to the bathroom before hitting the road to go to the park by the airport for lunch. Kara took a nap on the way. Tired little kid.

Matt did his research and found a park that we could have lunch and the kids could run around.

Logan even decided he would attempt to crawl across the grass very carefully since he wasn't sure about the feeling and texture. We packed up and headed for the car rental place making sure we had plenty of time since we had such a ridiculous time getting the car. On the way, I was notified the plane would be delayed by 30 minutes. No big deal, we were already in the car and headed to the car rental. Well the car rental place was speedy fast. We were in and out and on the shuttle to the airport within 30 minutes.

We got through the airport check-in pretty easily too, considering the fact I forgot I had washed Logan birth certificate when I washed the diaper bag from having sunscreen all in it.

We had a hard time finding a place to seat all together that wasn't in the sun and near an outlet so Kara could watch a movie. Logan wanted to get down and just crawl, but I wouldn't let him. Then our flight got delayed by another hour. Luckily I had enough frozen breastmilk left and it was my last bag ever too. So I definitely had to document it.

I was hoping we would have as comfortable a ride as we did traveling there. Meaning we could spread out over 3 rows and Logan could have his own seat in his carrier and I wouldn't have to hold him. When I checked in his stroller, there were only 10 empty seats. So we were in 2 rows, but Logan got his out seat. Lucky us! The entire airplane was full of families coming back from Disneyland. Out kids were great and the plane was so noisy we couldn't really hear the kids crying. Logan even fell asleep.

My mom picked us up around 11pm and we got home just about midnight. It was so nice to be home and sleep in our own beds.
