Thursday in August on the 18th. No big deal right, we had checked the Seven Peaks calendar the night before to double check and the park was suppose to be open at 10am.
I was a quite a bit excited to take Kara to Seven Peaks with Chelsey as the last big thing before it closed. Matt's mom was watching Logan, so we could just play on the slides and pools and havew a mom and daughter fun date. We got there first and parked in the road like usual. I got Kara out and had her wait while packing up the stuff. Other cars had arrived and walked up to the gate only to walk back a couple minutes later saying the park was closed for the day. I was livid. Chelsey pulled up right after I found that out. We were all excited but couldn't go.
So we hit the splash pad instead. Definitely NOT as much fun, but tried to make the best of it and played with the kids in the water anyway.
