Washington...part 2

On Saturday, we went to the pumpkin patch and farm for a good 5 hours. It was a bit windy, but a lot of fun. We went through a corn maze. I carried Kara most of the time and my hips and sciatica didn't agree with it very much! We went on a hay ride, which was a lot of fun as we got to see the farm. The farmer was the actual guide on the tour and they told us how they ran the farm.

We saw a pig race. Arlee and Lydia panned for gems in an area set up, while Kara just played in the water. They also got to go fishing.

We shot walnuts at a target 50 yards away and Kara hit it on her first try. I aimed the cannon and Chelsey helped Kara push the button. Kara got a free donut for hitting it. Hans helped Arlee and Lydia with 6 shots and they never got close.

The kids also had fun feeding chickens.
