First free day for winter 2016. It was cold, but we bundled up like we were going sledding and the kids were perfectly warm.
I couldn't find anyone that wanted to go with us so we went by ourselves.
Kara pretty much walked the entire time and Logan would have loved to walk but I kept him in the stroller. It was hard as he wanted to get down, but keeping track of him and pushing the stroller was a bit much. Kara has gotten so much better at staying close and listening. Now just to train Logan to do the same.
All the lions were together and extremely active. It was really nice.
Next stop that had animals out were the elephants.
We didn't find any live rinos, but found this one to play on.
Logan and Kara enjoyed watching the sea lions and seals swim around. Plus it was inside and a bit of a reprieve from the cold.
Selfies in front of the grizzles. They were very active and fun to watch.
We also went to the cat area but alot of the exhibits were being cleaned. We took pictures with these guys instead.
After the zoo, we headed over to the Huntsman Cancer Center to have lunch with Matt. We arrived quite a bit earlier than I was expecting since Kara and Logan both were throwing fits at the end of our zoo visit.
We ended up having lunch by ourselves and Matt joined us at the very end. It wasn't very easy trying to get the kids food, find a table, and get them to eat.
Pictures with Daddy after he came and joined us. He ate the rest of my salad and the kids' pasta.
