Well I took the kids to their first parade. We had quite a bit to walk, but we found a perfect spot at the start of the parade in the shade. It was great to be in the shade to watch a parade. Never done that before. I forgot how much candy is thrown at a parade. Kara also got a popsicle and a stuffed monkey that she was in love for a couple of days.

After the parade, we headed over to the summer reading kick off. Kara had a ton of fun playing in the bounce houses. We also waited a bit to go on the train, but Kara and Logan both enjoyed it.
After dinner, we convinced Matt to go over to the South Jordan carnival for a quick bit of family fun. We did the kids area and a couple slides. Then we had to go so Matt could go to work.
I love this picture of them together. Kara didn't climb very high but enjoyed trying.
