We have split up the families, so we have Christmas Eve with Matt's family and Christmas day with mine. We planned on having a breakfast brunch and do presents as Matt's brother, Brian and his family had another party that afternoon.
We woke up Logan a little early from his nap and headed down to Matt's parents. We opened presents before Brian's family got there because they had the main dish and arrived an hour after we did.

After breakfast with Matt's family. We got dressed up and ready to go sledding. I couldn't find any boots for Logan that weren't outrageous in price so I found him stocking socks. Which are actually really warm and should work when we go camping this summer. My mom, Leili, Logan, Matt, Kara, and I all hiked over to the park by our house for sledding.
After sledding, we went home for naps and then headed to Applebees for dinner with Jake and my mom. It wasn't the typical Christmas Eve that was use to growing up, but hopefully we can make a tradition of it some how.
