First 2014 Hike - 5-5-2014

We went on our first hike with Kara in 2014 to the Living Room up by the U of U. We met our friend, David, who was going to hike with us but he forgot his shoes. Conveniently, his work is right next to the trail head, so he walked a bit with us.

We were definitely huffing and puffing though. 50 minutes up, with me feeling like crying and wanting to turn back, but of course I was competitive and didn't want Matt to out hike me. Plus he had Kara on his back and I only had the water and food. We hiked up the mountain, sat in the living room and came back down.

Nice little hike to get us in the mood for more.
