11-29-2016 - Building our snow family

It snowed the day before and Kara wanted to make snowmen, but the snow was too powdery. But overnight it turned into some great snow.

I usually put the kids down for naptime at the same time, but today we put Logan down first and then our snow clothes on and went out and build our snow family.

I am usually really lousy at making snowmen, so when the first turned out so wonderful I just kept going.

11-25-2016 thru 11-27-2016 - Sick Family and putting up Christmas

11-25-2016 - Black Friday

Well Black Friday was a bust for our house. I was so sick all I could do was sit around., so no shopping for us. We even had to cancel our double date with Turkey and Alan cause I couldn't even think about eating let alone putting street clothes on and going out in the cold.

Matt and the kids decorated the tree. Kara was okay but not her usual self. Logan was the only on of us that didn't get sick.

Sitting on the chair in the front room watching them decorate while I hold Logan.

Kara and Logan put all the ornaments on the tree this year. It was a cluster in some areas. I didn't rearrange them or anything. I am not too big on the "perfect" looking tree. Some are, but I don't care.

11-26-2016 - Saturday after Thanksgiving

Kara got a hold of Matt's phone and took some pictures.

We still weren't feeling good and Matt felt horrible, but he was good to go to hang out with Jared for 6 hours that night. Guess it was that important to him.

11-27-2016 - Sunday after Thanksgiving

The house was getting back to normal. Logan was full of energy and you can totally tell from this video.

I took a video of my Christmas village. Kara told Matt where to put every piece. She loved to get a stool and place it in front of the village and make believe with the people.

We didn't feel good for the weekend, but it was nice and chill and Christmas did get set up.

11-24-2016 - Thanksgiving

So we had Thanksgiving at our house this year. We had a total of 11 people. This is the smallest Thanksgiving that we have ever had on my side of the family. Dane and Danielle were going to come, but the twins weren't born as early as we were expecting, so it wasn't a good idea to have them over. It was us, my parents, Kali's family, and Jakers.

We fit perfectly and Kara and Leili had a lot of fun playing together.

Me upstairs with Logan in my room putting him to sleep. He wanted to cuddle and I was very happy to accommodate him.

Before we had pie, my mom and I went to the J.C. Penney sale to find Jake a knife set and I wanted to get Matt a coat for Christmas.  Yes, we were those people that went out on Thanksgiving mid-day. I remember working at Harmons until 4pm on Thanksgiving every year when the store closed not able to eat dinner with my family because they would sometimes had it earlier in the day.

Kara and Leili eating pumpkin pie with whipping cream. Kara decided she wasn't a fan of the whipping cream.

After Logan woke up from his nap, we headed over to Matt's parents for pie. I wasn't the biggest fan as I didn't feel the best but just thought I had over eaten.

Thanksgiving went pretty well until after we went to bed. I didn't feel the best but thought it wasn't anything too big. Kara came into our room in the middle of the night throwing up. She ended up throwing up a couple times during the night. The next day, I was so nauseous I didn't want to move and my body ached every where.
