7-6-2016 - Chelsey's visit - Lagoon Day

We went to Harmons Lagoon Day this year and took Kara with us for the first time. We knew she would do well, because she loved all the rides at Disneyland. She fell asleep in the car on the way, which gave her a quick 40 minute nap and powered her through the whole day. Chelsey was down from Washington for a quick visit, so we talked her into going to Lagoon with us. She left Ellie with my mom and we left Logan with her too.

We ate lunch first and had a bunch of goodies that Harmons provided before heading off for the ride.

We rode Rattle Snake Rapids first and then headed for the Log Ride. I got soaked on Rattle Snake rapids.

After the Log ride, we went on the tidal wave and I was sick, so I sent everyone tall enough to ride the coasters and took Kara and Lydia to the small rides.

We headed back for some dinner, but Arlee and I rode the Rocket while others watched. I love that ride and finally started feeling good again.

After dinner, everyone went on rattle snake rapids again, except for me, as it was getting too late and I didn't want to be cold.

Chelsey and I took the little kids, while Matt and Hans took Arlee and hit some more roller coasters.

We had a blast riding the rides and I even went on Cannibal.

Matt ended with Kara and daddy time while I waited to go on the rocket one last time until next year. Kara asks me about once a week when we can go back to Lagoon. I always tell her next year.

4th of July 2016

We started the 4th of July at Lowes. I wanted to get some garage shelving and found that Lowes had the best deal. Well, Lowes by my house didn't have any of the product I wanted in stock, so we drove to West Valley Lowes. After actually seeing the product box and further reflection, we bought a different style.

After our Lowes trip, we went back home, had lunch, and waited for that nights BBQ at my moms.

We ate outside due to the fabulous mess inside from construction work, but enjoyed the cool shade. We also enjoyed some croquet game. It was a blast. Matt had to leave early to go to work. He took Logan with him and Kara and I followed an hour later. Had to squeeze in a little bit more playtime.

My hard working potato head. Love him and so thankful for how hard he works for our family so I can stay home with the kids.

7-2-2016 - Fun Day

We had a fun filled day on July 2nd. I took Logan and Kara to their first Home Depot kid construction day. Kara made a miniature bowling alley while Logan and I watched. I helped a bit.

After that, we went to Bonka's house to show them what she made and ended up helping ripe out the door and move its location for further construction on the house.

We came back home for nap time and waited for the time to go to the neighbors/friends for a BBQ and firework show. Matt was only able to stay for the BBQ. He took Logan home with him. I came back to the house and put Logan to bed.

Fireworks that were on display before lighting them that night. It was a pretty good show.

Kara had fun sitting on a neighbor girl while watching the show.

Hard life of fun, family, and country.
