March 2014 - Part 1

We took Kara to her first park adventure. She didn't like the slide, but was okay with the swings.

Kara discovered a new place to play in the house...the kitchen island. Matt isn't too thrilled about it, but she likes to discover things and it doesn't hurt any of the plasticware.

Home Show 2014

We had fun walking around the home show looking for ideas for the backyard. We were there for hours and Kara was perfect. She is such a fantastic baby!

Snow Date 2-25-2014

Matt and I went on a snow date on 2-25-2014. It didn't help that it was the hottest day of the year so far.

Matt's mom watched Kara while we went snow tubing at Solider Hollow in Midway. Way fun! I hadn't been able to tub there 5 years ago when we had a family reunion with Matt's family because I was pregnant.

So I finally got to go down the hills...we spent 2 hours tubing and it was the perfect amount. When the sun was out it was too hot, but thankfully we got some clouds every so often to give us a break from the blinding sun.

After we went tubing, we went down to look at Bridal Veil falls and have a picnic.

Much needed time away!! So thankful Matt's mom could watch Kara!

Valentine's Day - Matt had to work, so we just had a couple hours together. Bubbly and a few presents. I got chocolate covered strawberries, Matt gave Kara a stuffed hedgehog ball, and Matt got a movie.

My family had an explosion recently in new little ones...Lilly was born on my birthday on January 14th, Mason was born a week later on January 21st, and Ellie was born on March 26th. Lilly and Ellie live outside the state so we haven't seen them in person yet, but Mason is here for Kali and I to share.
