Watch her grow

With having such a hard time getting pregnant, we had many ultra sounds to make sure everything was progressing properly.

Watch her grow through ultra sounds -

Nov. 17th - My thoughts about HER.

My daughter in heaven sent down from Him.
A precious gift patiently waiting for her time to join our little family.
Long have we waited.
Long have we planned .
Not knowing when you would come into our waiting hands.
Precious little one...please know that we care.
We have waited so long for you to be here.
Please have patience as you learn and grow as we don't really know what we are doing.
We love you more than you know.
We can't wait for you to come so we can see and hold you in our arms.

First Doctor Appointment for Baby - July 26th

Went to the doctor's appointment this morning at 9:20am. We were a little late and I was worried and nervous so I got a little snappy at Matt. Plus I almost got us hit by a car by not looking both ways when I drove into the wrong parking lot. I thought I was supposed to be 6 weeks today, but only the "yoke" should up in the ultra sound. Doctor Branch wasn't determined one way or the other if it was a false pregnancy or if I was off on my dates and the embryo will show up on my next appointment. Made the appointment for Friday, August 3rd at 4:00pm. Matt has to work and won't be able to be there with me. At least I was brave enough to let him come to this appointment as I have never had him come in the past. I don't know whether to cry my eyes out or just think it is our place to learn patience or find the silver lining in the situation like we have been doing so much the past couple of years in all situations that aren't happy.

At least there is the "yoke" in my uterus, but I was really hoping to see the heart beating so my heart could start beating with it. Well tonight is Kali's baby shower so happiness is what I pick as I won’t take this day from her. Hoping everything works out for us to have our own baby.

Praying for peace and strength through Heavenly Father as he has the power to make anything possible.

Found out we were pregnant on July 16th

Matt was in disbelief when I told him I was pregnant.

Perfect thanksgiving day 11-22-12

We woke up at 9 and watched Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.
During which Matt made his self-proclaimed famous yams.
After the parade we had lunch, a smoothie that I made. While Matt was still
making the yams, I soaked in the tub and then showered. Don't like washing me
hair in tub water. After that Matt and I finished getting ready.
We went over to Matt's parents and had turkey dinner with them and Brian and Amy and Jairus and Tali. Nice quite evening. Brian and Amy left at 6 for her family's turkey dinner. I finished looking through the ads and found a couple items I wanted to get at Michaels, Wal-Mart, and Target. Michaels was a breeze. Wal-Mart
was a complete joke. Target had a line but we were in and out quickly. We then
went back and watched the amazing Spider-Man with Matt's parents. Got home about 1am. Perfect relaxing day with Matt. Missed those types of days!!
Now it is time to sleep and get ready for our big move.

Matt goofying off at Michaels.

Matt taking a nap while waiting to go shopping at our next destinations.

We bought our fridge the day before Thanksgiving.
I told Matt what style I wanted and he researched what type to get.

Pie! The only kind of pie I like has to have gram cracker crust, because the regular crust just doesn't taste very good. Matt's mom surprised me and made my favorite pie, Lemon Meringue Pie w/ Gram Cracker Crust.
Yummy!

Can you jump on a Pogo Stick?

I should have posted this last summer right after recording the fun my family tried to have on a Pogo Stick one afternoon, but I was too sick to even think about picking up a computer back then. So now that it is half way through February and the sun is out and I am looking forward to Spring and Summer, I wanted to post what makes me laugh ever time I watch my silly family members try to use a simple child's toy.

See if this makes you laugh and VOTE who does the best:

Snowboarding

So it seems like I always write about things I like to do or what Matt and I have done together. Well one thing Matt really enjoys doing in the winter months is snowboarding. Mind you I have never tried this and think it is insane to out both your feet onto one object that are trapped and you head down a step mountain while trying not to fall down. I prefer sledding myself as you don't have to ride a long and scary ski lift to get to the place where the fun is suppose to start.

Back to Matt. He has a group from his work he goes with that one of his best buddies goes with. So they have fun their crazy own way.

Here are some pictures of Matt on one of his days on the mountain:

Halloween 2012

I know I am going backwards a little bit as it is now January, BUT I am trying to catch up on what has happened.

We had a relaxing Halloween. Last year (2011), I saw ladies out trick-o-treating with their little ones and had costumes centered around their pregnant bellies. Well, when we found out in July we were pregnant, I decided if the pregnancy stuck this time, I would have a trick-o-treating costume centered around the pregnant belly. I came up with my idea of what I wanted. Matt figured out the style and my mom-in-law helped me perfect it.

Matt also centered our pumpkin carving to match my costume.

Picture that inspired my costume and our pumpkin

My costume. I came up with the saying.

We also went to Lagoon to experience the haunted houses and let Matt have one last hoorah with our season passes I had so ingeniously bought not expecting we won't be using them very much as I was so sick for the first 15 weeks. We were going to meet up with the Elswoods, but only David came for a really good reason that I can't remember right now. So Mattie and David rode the rides and I walked around with them and waited on the bench and just enjoyed the weather.
